Our Farm

Hi, welcome to Grazing Grass Alpacas farm! We operate on a small eight acre Alpaca farm just outside of Anderson, IN and thirty minutes North of Indianapolis, IN along I 69. Our journey began in 2006 as we started from a corn field, built a house, put up fencing, built a three-sided building and pole barn, and planted our pastures and fields with a special orchard grass mix designed specifically for the Alpaca’s health.

Our first interest in Alpacas came from a magazine article. From there we did a lot of Internet research before we ever saw our first live Alpaca up close. If you’re like us, once you see these beautiful, gracious animals and get to know them, you’ll fall in love not only with the Alpaca’s, but with the lifestyle that Alpaca ownership brings. Each Alpaca has a personality all their own and even though we know this is a business, they’ve become a part of our family. After a day of working at the office we find tremendous satisfaction in spending time out in the barn and pastures with the animals. So give us a call at 765-623-0358 and schedule a visit cause we love to talk Alpacas!
