    Alpaca Fiber Workshop

You're invited to a hands-on alpaca fiber workshop sponsored by the Indiana Alpaca Association. It will be a fun day of working with fiber and making new friends. The workshop is taught by Roo Kline of Moonwood Farm of Huntsville, AL. Roo is an amazing fiber artist and accomplished business woman with a very busy online fiber store. She previously has owned alpacas and presents similar seminars at Magical Farm in Ohio.

In the workshop, you will learn the basics of fiber dying, including over dying with grays and browns. In the afternoon session, you will learn all about carding, skirting, washing and blending. Roo will also discuss marketing and pricing (both wholesale and retail).

Feel free to bring your own fleeces to work on. If you have a drum carder that you would not mind us using at the workshop, please indicate on the registration form.

If you want to do something productive with your alpaca fiber, this is the workshop for you!
Fee: $100 for IAA members, $125 others
